Roland Ferwerda is the Managing Director of NTCS GreenBee. He has specialized in Energy topics since 2005 and in eMobility since 2015. Starting off as director of the National Knowledge Platform for Charging infrastructure in the Netherlands, he has gained experience with designing charging infrastructure models, systems for multiple countries and companies worldwide. He has co-founded the EVRoaming Foundation in 2020, managing the open roaming protocol OCPI, and founded GreenBee in 2022 to service clients in Europe, Latin-America, the Caribbean and Africa. He drives innovation and growth in EV charging globally, with a focus on creating sustainable and future-proof market models. Roland holds a master's degree in theoretical physics with additional certificates in Energy & Finance.
